How can I describe the experience of we are the Unreal?

It is poetry, but it’s not your parents’ poetry reading.

Part rap, part urban verse, part improv, the show defies explanation. In fact, I would do you a disservice to continue to describe it. Just see it.

The traveling poets will be in Portland for about a week. Their car broke down when they arrived in Portland, they passed a hat and they earnestly asked if anyone was willing to put them up for the night.

They will be doing five more shows in Portland, assuming their car gets fixed. Bring a few dollars to put in the hat and catch a great performance.

It left me scratched.
