What does Obama's decision to stop defending DOMA really mean for us? Will somebody else defend it? Will we get any sort of federal benefits anytime soon? President Obama's decision to withdraw from and undertake no further defense of the Defense of Marriage Act is, obviously, very good news. But it is somewhat limited good news...

Tuesday afternoon in New York's Times Square, Choi triumphantly walked into a military recruiting station and reenlisted in the Army, thanks to a court decision earlier that day which froze enforcement of the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy. He's likely among the first openly gay service members to return after being expelled.
