Oregon Republicans have stripped anti-gay language from their 2012 party platform, a shift toward the political center in a state where the GOP has struggled mightily in recent years.

Each year, Basic Rights Oregon (BRO) honors community leaders who devote their passion and energy to work for LGBT equality. We are excited to announce that Jenn Burleton is a recipient of their 2010 Equality Champion award, which will be presented to her on Saturday, October 2nd at BRO’s 28th Annual Dinner and Auction event.

BRO Dinner is October 2, 2010. The theme of this year’s gala is Glee – Voices for Equality! This evening will be an opportunity for our community to break new ground for gay and transgender equality through celebration and song.
