Queer Patrol Gets A Boost
One of the more compelling ideas to emerge from the aftermath of Portland’s recent gay bashing problems is the exploration of a “Queer Patrol.” The germ of the idea is that some trained queers might help keep the streets a little safer for us fabbies on big party nights. How exactly this would be funded is not entirely clear…so…let the fundraising begin!

Thursday June 17th members of the LGBTQ community and the Q.L.F. are organizing an open Discussion on Queer Patrol in Portland OR. this will be an open discussion for the queer community and allies. this meeting is only a couple days before our pride weekend and the main topic is safer streets, patrolling, reporting to the police and self defense.
