The 14th annual Portland Lesbian and Gay Film Festival kicks off on Friday and runs through Saturday, Oct 9th.  The participating theaters will be Cinema 21, Hollywood Theater and Living Room Theaters.

There are some great films this year on gender (Assume Nothing), stereotypes (Bear Nation) and issues affecting queer seniors (Gen Silent) plus more on queer families, gays in the military and a film starring Mindy Cohen (Natalie from “Facts of Life”)!
