A little less than a year ago, I got my panties in a bunch about being turned away from the Hot Flash Dance because I am a man. What followed was a learning experience that helped to really launch this site. I was reminded about how diverse our small community really is.

One of the ideas that emerged from the learning experience was to try a Hot Flash Style dance that is open to everyone in the LGBT Spectrum. Well, that day has come – Saturday, September 11, 2010, to be exact.

One of the things I love about Hot Flash (and its little sister Inferno) is its pre-funkiness. That means the party starts early – 6pm -  and ends early enough to kick you out on the street with plenty of time to catch another party, hop on Max or even get a dinner somewhere.

This Saturday’s Inferno is a Uniform Party. All types of uniforms encouraged – from nurse to fire fighter to business gear to peace-keeping officer. Cash prize for the most creative twist on a uniform; for example, a kinky nurse, an athlete in a cast, or even a cop with a glove!

In addition, Butch VOICES is bringing in a date auction full of AMAZINGLY hot queers so bring your dollars and bid on these folks! There will be a door prize raffle, also sponsored by Butch VOICES.

Crave’s DJ Alicious & Hot Flash’s DJ WildFire spin high energy contemporary dance music that will keep you moving all evening.

Fabulous PDX recommends this party for everyone! However, we especially want MEN to come to this event. Less than a year ago, Fabulous PDX wondered if it we might be able to ALL party together. Here is our chance. I’ll be there.
