Gay Men’s Chorus Adds AbbaQueen Performance
Ticket sales for the Portland Gay Men’s Chorus performance “AbbaQueen” are so popular that PGMC has added a third show on Friday, March 19 at 8pm. Get tickets fast – the Saturday performance is already sold out.
ABOUT THE SHOW
Merging the outrageous energy of theatrical rock with the sweet harmonies of 70′s pop, ABBAQueen is a tour de force of two great iconic bands. With the 130 voices of PGMC moving and grooving to such hits as Mamma Mia, We are the Champions, Take a Chance on Me, Somebody to Love, Fernando, Bohemian Rhapsody, and of course, Dancing Queen, ABBAQueen will rock you!
In honor of Queen’s Freddie Mercury, who once said, “I dress to kill, but tastefully,” a costume contest will be part of the experience. Audience members are encouraged to dress in their most outrageous 70′s threads and strut across our stage for a chance to win a prize and be named our Dancing Queen or Killer Queen. Visit our Contest Guide to learn more.
So step into those old platform shoes and join us for a show that you won’t want to miss!
