The Conservative Political Action Conference has veered too liberal in
inviting the gay Republican group GoProud, according to Concerned
Women of America and the Family Research Council, both which will not
participate in February.

The Log Cabin Republicans of New York announced “Starting at 1,” a new initiative that aims to increase gay Republican political involvement from the ground all the way up to elected office.
- Reichen Is Not a "Vapid Queen"

A-List star Reichen Lehmkuhl is none too pleased that an editor for New York’s gay nightlife guide Next Magazine called him and boyfriend Rodiney Santiago “vapid queens,” sending an e-mail to the editor and likening his words to “bullying.”

An antigay commissioner in North Carolina’s Mecklenburg County called gay people “sexual predators” in an e-mail response to a letter from a fellow commissioner asking her colleagues to sign a thank-you note to the state’s officials who voted to repeal “don’t ask, don’t tell.”

A gay coal miner in West Virginia is suing his employer, a Massey Energy
Co. subsidiary, saying several of his coworkers have harassed

Despite the work design star Nate Berkus put into designing a new lounge
for LGBT youth, country singer Chely Wright will do the official
unveiling on Berkus’s show, since he was rushed to the hospital for an
emergency appendectomy.

Conservative Republicans and Tea Party advocates are hunting for a
primary challenger for Massachusetts senator Scott Brown after he reached
across the aisle to support the repeal of “don’t ask, don’t tell.”
