Dirty Duck Closed By Portland Development Commission

Just Out’s Andy Mangel’s reports that the Dirty Duck Tavern, which this year was celebrating 25 years as the oldest single-location gay bar in Portland, will close this week after being evicted by the Portland Development Commission (PDC.)
The PDC will be exchanging the land with nearby Blanchet House, which has plans to develop the area into an expanded homeless shelter.
Gail Kennedy, owner of the Dirty Duck, stated “I hope to find us a new home soon, I am looking.”
