A billboard in Toledo, Ohio has become a conversation piece for saying that being gay is a gift from God.  As reported in The Advocate:

Dan Rutt of the Central United Methodist Church put up the digital billboard, in hopes that it would encourage conversation.

“People who seem to have a different perspective,” he told WNWO News. “We welcome that and look forward to that, so let the conversation begin.”

Rutt said there has been response from the billboard all around the world, some in favor, and other opposed. While some have written to Rutt, in condemnation, one particular email Rutt received said, “Mavel tov on your “Gay is a Gift from God” campaign! I love that your church isn’t just quietly welcoming – you’re ready to shout about God’s perfect love for LGBTQ people from the rooftops!”
