This is not Through The Looking Glass, but rather a hybrid story about Alice as a 19 year old who returns to Wonderland on the day of her arranged engagement to a hideous English Lord. Asking for some time to make up her mind about the engagement, she chases a white rabbit into the woods and right down into a rabbit hole.

The story of Tom Norton and his husband Bao Nguyen. Tom – a Vietnam Vet – has become one of the most compelling local voices calling for the repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell. Merging the outrageous energy of theatrical rock with the sweet harmonies of 70’s pop, ABBAQueen is a tour de force of two great iconic bands.

Money raised during the Speakeasy Casino will benefit Equity Foundation, which is a local Oregon foundation that promotes the dignity and worth of all people by providing college scholarships and grants to organizations working to end discrimination against gender and sexual minorities as well as other diverse communities in Oregon.

Not as good as 2005, but this year’s nominees are pretty fabulous.
