3,000 dvds sent to Catholic homes in support of a Minnesota ban on same-sex marriage will be returned to the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis.  From The Advocate:

Minnesota Public Radio reports on the effort organized by Bob Radecki, who opposed the Church mailing of 400,000 DVDs in October that urged parishioners to oppose any effort to legalize same-sex marriage in the state.

“Radecki said his group, Return the DVD, will deliver about 3,000 DVDs to the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis on Friday,” reports MPR. “He said they objected to the church’s position, and the mailing close to a key state election. He said the effort also asked for charity to help the poor and raised about $10,000.”

The organizers said they had asked for, but were not granted, a meeting with Archbishop John Nienstedt about the return of the DVDs.
